Launched initially as an AI-focused production studio, iKHOR Studios collaborated on groundbreaking projects, including a music video for Britney Spears and creating the first-ever AI-generated scene in a feature film (starring Jennifer Lopez). We quickly realized that there was a significant gap in tools designed to support the needs of professional artists, leading to a pivot to iKHOR Labs, focusing on advanced AI tools tailored for professional use in high-end productions.

After participating in HF0, the premiere AI accelerator, and attracting investment from Khosla Ventures and other leading Silicon Valley investors, iKHOR moved to Japan. Over the next 12 months, iKHOR’s team of creatives, researchers, and diffusion experts immersed themselves in the heart of Tokyo’s commercial anime studios. We spent hundreds of hours working alongside professional animators, meticulously studying every facet of their craft and production techniques to develop AI tools that integrate seamlessly into the anime production process.

After months of rigorous research and development, iKHOR Labs achieved a breakthrough and officially launched its first product, KamikAI, in December 2024.
